The first steps in padel
Born in Moraleja, Spain, Paula Josemaría Martin began playing padel at a young age, fascinated by the sport’s dynamic nature. Her talent quickly emerged, and with great determination, she decided to dedicate herself fully to a professional career.
From the first competitions to the international scene
Paula debuted on the professional circuit in 2014, but it wasn’t until 2016 that she began to make a name for herself, reaching the round of 16 in several tournaments. The turning point came in 2019, when, partnered with Ana Catarina Nogueira, she won the Madrid Masters, her first major title. This success catapulted her among the best players on the circuit and earned her a place among the stars of the World Padel Tour.

In 2021, Josemaría formed an extraordinary duo with Ariana Sánchez. Their harmony and complementarity on the court made them an unbeatable pair.
